What is a fire plan?
A fire plan, also known as a fire safety plan, is a comprehensive document designed to outline the procedures and actions to be taken in the event of a fire. It is a legal requirement in the UK (under the Regulatory Reform Order) that every business and non-domestic premise must have a fire risk assessment and appropriate fire safety measures in place. A well drawn plan will show clear, detailed evacuation routes and exits with designated assembly points outside the building.
